Cinnamon Swirl Bread Baked French Toast
Serves: 6
  • 1 loaf Haggen Cinnamon Swirl Bread
  • 1 stick butter
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 cup half & half
  • Powdered sugar
  1. Melt butter and mix with the brown sugar. Spread evenly in bottom of a large baking dish.
  2. Place the bread slices on top of the butter and brown sugar mixture to cover. Mix the eggs and half & half, pour over the bread slices. Cover the baking dish and refrigerate overnight, or for 6 hours prior to baking. Bake at 360° for 15–18 minutes or until knife comes out clean. Dust with powdered sugar just prior to serving.
  3. Prepping this dish the night before allows the bread time to soak up the rich flavors prior
  4. to baking.
